Being comfortable in a crate is an essential skill for all dogs to master. You never know when your dog will need to be kenneled, whether at the vet, groomer or should you need to board them. Also, crating is an incredibly helpful and effective management approach and when used appropriately, can give your dog a safe place to rest.
This training tidbit is designed to help your dog learn to love their crate in a variety of situations.
Exercises will include:
- how to effectively introduce the dog to crating
- training settling and proper releases
- home crating, car crating and travel crating
- feeding and chewing with crating
- playing, training and crating routines
